About the Event

On their own, twerk and pole dance are highly liberating and empowering dance styles, as they allow people to explore and develop their feminine and sensual power. Twerk is a huge part of black culture and history, since black $tr!ppers brought it into $tr!pclubs it has become an integral part of pole dance. By blending the two, my aim is to create a safe space for people to let go of any fears they have in expressing such energy and to uncover and relish in their true beings.

Twerk is a major part of black culture and history, since black $tr!ppers brought it into stripclubs it has become an integral part of pole dance.

NO POLE EXPERIENCE NEEDED | However beginners experience in twerk is required.

Roxanne (aka @foxxyroxyyy), has been pole dancing for the past 4 years. Since then she has graced many stages such as, Sport Palais in Antwerp for the legendary Snoop Dogg and Burna Boy in Gelderome, Paradiso for Yade Lauren's concert and has choreographed both exotic and spinny pole routines for the 4 editions of Dinner Show's at Chin Chin Club and Supper Club. Her experience in twerk speaks for itself as she's known as 'the twerk queen of the Netherlands' since winning €5000 in an online twerk contest.

This workshop will take place at the beautiful studio Pole Dance Factory Noord. We will cover basic sexy pole moves, floorwork and twerk techniques in pleasers and with the pole; then we will end in a choreography.
